Les Jones is sole owner of Light Impressions Photography, and has been a Professional Photographer since 1980.

Les has won numerous awards for his wedding and portrait photography, while competing in photography competitions sponsored by the Professional Photographers of San Diego County, the Professional Photographers of California, and the Professional Photographers of America. His work was part of a display in the Professional Photographers Hall of Fame. Les was one of fifty photographers selected from the Professional Photographers of America's national print competition to have a photograph displayed in a prestigious international exhibit sponsored by the Professional Photographers of America, and has had his work selected for the Professional Photographers of America's National Loan Collection.

Les has been a contributor providing photography for the San Diego Charger Blood Drive for 8 years and has photographed many of the Charger players and their families. For 15 years he has been a sponsor for and has photographed all of the area queens for the Fairest of the Fair, and selects Miss Photogenic for that pageant. Les has been hired to photograph for Prudential Securities, Coldwell Banker, Hitachi America, Häagen-Dazs Ice Cream Company, John Henry Company, the 1996 Republican National Convention, Potomac Television, The Comedy Channel, MTV, Nostalgia Television, and the March of Dimes. He has also been hired to photograph many notables, including Gerald Ford, Chris Matthews, Robert Young, and Hal Linden.
